The saucy stunner has just a minuscule role in one of her upcoming movies.You expect to see a lot of Katrina Kaif in a film co-starring Akshay Kumar . But that may not happen in Blue , the Ashtavinayak production being directed by Anthony D’Souza .

While Lara Dutta is the film’s leading lady, Katrina will just have an item number and a few scenes in the flick. There have been rumours that her role has been extended to bring more star value to the project, but the actress has confirmed that she’s a very small role in ‘Blue’.Katrina is already learnt to have shot a few scenes in Bangkok and will soon shoot her item song as well.

According to a source close to the film’s unit, Katrina is paired with Akshay in the film but her character is killed after just two or three scenes. The source goes on to add that Katrina has been in full know of the length of her character from the start.

Incidentally, even Australian popstar Kylie Minogue has a brief role in the film besides a song for which she is in Mumbai. Minogue dances with Akshay in the song.

Meanwhile, those who want to see the jodi of Katrina-Akshay needn’t be disappointed. The two team up in Priyadarshan’s comedy De Dhana Dhan .

Katrina Kaif is calling for justice and goes on to say at an election rally, "Abhi hamari mehendi ka rang bhi nahi utra tha ki use berahmi se ujad diya gaya! " The crowd responds by saying, "Indu behen zindabad."

The world’s sexiest woman (2008) has decided to shed her glamourous image for her role in critically acclaimed filmmaker Prakash Jha’s RAJNITI. The change of image is not restricted to her wardrobe alone; Katrina will also be required to speak in a certain dialect, for which she is undergoing voice modulation classes.

Katrina Kaif said, ’’My role in RAJNITI has different shades - I start off as a particular way and end up as a completely changed persona. The character is immensely challenging and it is a huge responsibility to carry off such a character. I am very excited to work with Prakash Jha, who is known for his kind of cinema and believes in involving himself in every department of his films. In a couple of days, I will be shooting for the film in Bhopal where I have scenes with a crowd of around 500 and I am gearing up for it.’’

Katrina Kaif is eagerly awaiting the release of her next flick Showman’s Yuvraaj. The actress who stars along ace heroes like Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor is quite happy with the experience of sharing screen space with such versatile actors.
